The test is equipped with a built-in sterile lancet for pricking the finger to obtain a blood sample. The green cap ensures the sterility of the lancet before use. To perform the test, apply a small drop of blood to the test strip (in the well), and then add 4 drops of the test fluid (diluent). After the test is complete, two lines may appear on the test strip. The visible control line indicates that the diluent was added and transferred successfully, and the test reagents are functioning properly. The test line will only become visible if the added sample contains HIV antibodies.
